My ignorance? Who the hell is ignorant when it comes to video games? Well I shouldn't say, "Who the hell" because I've seen one person who is ignorant when it comes to games. That is you. Once again, look at the games Wii is having. Mario? Games like that? The fact is, Sony and Microsoft are aiming for more realistic games and that will end up in their systems' having the better graphics. Kogu, take a look at some of the PS3 Game's screenshots and compare those with the Wii's screenshots. I've seen both and I've concluded that the PS3 will indeed have better graphics. PS3's controller will be familiar to all gamers, plus the motion sensor is an added bonus. Gamers will begin playing with no problem at all, while Wii consumers will have to get used to their controller for maybe 1 or more week(s) Now, Kogu yes I have actually owned the Resident Evil games since I used to own a Gamecube (I've owned all the previous gen consoles at one time. First PS2, then Gamecube, then sold those 2 and got an Xbox) The graphics are not as good as some of the best PS2 games. Or Xbox's. Now Shinobi, no one cares how good the DS is selling. First of all, that is in Japan. The Wii has potential but so does the PS3. The Wii's potential comes from the controller and that is it. The controller may fail because of the flaws it posesses (hard to hold) It may just be a fluke. |

If it was hard to hold, people would have told Reggie to his face while they were playing such games as Wii Sports, Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess, and other Wii titles. But guess what? I've searched...and searched...and did even more searching, not one complaint about the controller from the people who HAVE played the Wii. So that means one thing...it's a good fit (haha, that's what SHE said). No one can say the Wii is on the bottom on the stick when it comes to next-gen graphics. Because it will take years for each system to reach their full graphical abilities. Like someone showed with Resident Evil 4 on the GC. With the 360 and PS3, it's safe to say we have a close estimate to the graphical power of them, but when it comes to the Wii and it's Hollywood chip, no one really knows, so it could be better then PS3, see that word COULD. Not saying it is, but saying the possibility is there. |

http://www.engadget.com/2006/05/10/hands-o...wii-controller/ Flaws and benefits from the Wii's controller. PS3's controller has its flaws and benefits too. A flaw being no rumble and a benefit being no confusion and motion sensoring. As for the graphics, you're right RE4 proved that Nintendo could compete with Sony's graphics. But then again, we don't know. But PC gaming graphics look better than any console system by far. So we don't know if Wii will be better than PS3. |

I go with the Wii for these Reasons: 1)It has a cheap Price Tag 2)It brings a whole new life to Game Play 3)It's coming out with great games like SSBB, and Call of Duty 3. |

Wii all know what's gonna be that hottest seller of the christmas season year, if only for the cheap price and name brand. Those of use with a very large disposable income might shell out for a PS3, but for the average bank account, to try and buy a $600 system plus extra controllers (or if you already have a PS1or2 controller maybe not), memory cards, and then $60-100 on each game might be a little toooo much. I myself was considering waiting on the PS3 and picking up the Wii and a X-box 360 and seeing that the 360 isn't completely backwards compatable made me really reconsider things. I mean, it's Nintendo so you know there's a level of quality with their main inhouse titles. But right now all we have is specultion on what will be the "best" console to get. Each seems to have their strengths and weeknesses. |

PS2 is what you want. Even though it's being outdated, is's still much better than X-Box and Gamecube. X-Box 360 might have better graphics, but as soon as the PS3 comes out, 360 will be outdated. |

every system will be pretty obsolete once PS3 comes out. u can think i may be biased, but i dont care what you think. Look at the facts about ps3. They had to delay the system because the processor couldnt handle the graphics they were designing at the time. They had to totally revamp it. That just sounds like pure ludacrousness (not sure how to spell that). Those must be some pretty hardcore graphics. If you're the kinda person who likes realistic graphics and good story line games, not just mindless killing and shooting (although thats good in small amounts), stick with the Japanese games like MGS and Onimusha. Yeah taking out the rumble feature on the controller is the worst thing since Richard Simmons teaching aerobics. Now how am i gonna know when im getting shot at when im playing Socom 3? BAH! |

Well, the controllers should still be backwards compatable, right?? And I don't think that they would only make the motion sensor controllers. They'll probably make rumble controllers as well. |

"If you're the kinda person who likes realistic graphics and good story line games, not just mindless killing and shooting (although thats good in small amounts), stick with the Japanese games like MGS and Onimusha." Thing is, you have to declare bankruptcy to buy the $600 system, so it's not worth it. Or you could spend about $300 and get Wii and Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess, great graphics, and it's a Zelda game, so of course it'll have some of the best story and gameplay design. It might even beat the greatest game of all time, Ocarina of Time O_O |

Well yeah, if ur a lazy bum living off ur parents. I got a steady job, and have over $4500. I'm not saying everyone is as rich as I, but most people with jobs can easily afford it. The basic system, without the upgrade is $510.99 (so says the EB by my house). The upraged version in $670

I'd rather pay a downpayment on a car then get a PS3, or travel to visit my friends in Winnipeg, then to Edmonton to visit more friends, then back home. That's the ridiculousness of the PS3 price tag. Plus PS3 offers nothing new to the gaming feild, like the 360, and unlike the Wii. Why people even waste their money on 360 or PS3 is beyond me, both are just horsepowered versions of their elder system, just better graphics (which isn't needed). I don't even have to start going on about the Wii, do I? I may sound like a Nintendo "fanboy", but the truth is, I'm just an intellegent gamer, who only gets the best, most advanced system fpr gaming per gen, and in this gen, it's the Wii, no doubt. |
